|Recommended: YesIt’s close to campus — It was great but when I had some maintenance request that needed attention immediately it still took them a couple days to come in and look at it.
We apologize the work order took a while to complete. Our goal is to complete work orders within 48 hours. However, if a part is needed that may cause a delay. During these difficult times we were only responding to emergency work orders which might have been the cause for the delay. We are now up and running full-time. Thank you Hanna for your feedback. Since we have opened back up to our usually hours, we will be able to maintain the grounds better. We do encourage everyone to help keep our property clean by picking up after their pets and not leaving their trash outside. We are now completing an additional trash pick up to help ensure our property stays looking beautiful.
|Recommended: YesGood Location and Affordable Rent — Raiders Walk was a good choice for my son who attends Texas Tech Univ. It is conveniently located, shuttle bus access or a short walk to campus, scooters also available. With the exception of the next door neighbor's dog barking on many occasions, the noise level was fine.
Maintenance will eventually will fulfill repair work orders, you will need to be persistent.
Keep your records of all payments and try to email the staff to have records of correspondence conversations.
Overall, I was satisfied with this property and we are renewing for a second year.

|Recommended: NoCould use some work — The maintenance takes a long time to get filled. The people at the front office do their best. It is impossible to get a hold of anyone after office hours.

|Recommended: No3 out of 5 — It's alright for a student apartment, but the internet is terrible. False advertising, anyone . Also, the utilities costs are PER BUILDING instead of per unit. This means that you pay for your neighbors 3 hour long shower. So be ready to a Pay unpredictable utility costs and b Pay Suddenlink for internet access. During Covid, complex did not allow individuals to buy out of leases, and did send threatening eviction emails to residents, even though the Cares Act prohibited evictions in complexes financed by Fannie Mae yes you are, Raiders Walk . It was nice to be within walking distance of campus, and overall maintenance was responsive. Aside from the complaints above, it was a standard student living experience. Overall, I enjoyed my time there.
Joseph, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We currently offer an Unlimited Utility option so no matter how long your neighbors shower, your bill will not change. During COVID, we worked extremely hard to help our residents during these difficult times, including waiving late fees and online portal fees.

|Recommended: YesYou get what you pay for — My second year living here, the property manager had my vehicle towed without notification while I was out of town for work, and refused to admit her failure to notify or aid in the subsequent insurance inquiry where I attempted to recoup my funds from a wrongful vehicle theft. The pools are almost always unusable and disgusting, but the interior of the apartments, furniture, appliances, and layout are well worth the money. I have lived here for 3 years and will stay for one more as it is the best value for the price and location.
Jacob, we apologize about your towing issue. We try our best to notify our residents as soon as we can before their vehicle is towed. However, we are happy you have renewed and will be a resident for another year with us at Raiders Walk.
